OVERVIEW
This course provides a comprehensive overview of Republic Act No. 11930, or the Anti-Online Sexual Abuse or Exploitation of Children (OSAEC) and Anti-Child Sexual Abuse or Exploitation Materials (CSAEM) Act.
It examines the law’s key provisions, updated definitions, punishable acts, and penalties, including life imprisonment for grave offenses. The course explains jurisdiction, complaint procedures, evidentiary rules, and child-sensitive trial mechanisms. It also outlines victim protection measures, confidentiality safeguards, and the responsibilities of internet intermediaries, payment providers, and other private sector entities.
Overall, the training equips participants with legal knowledge necessary to prevent, identify, investigate, and prosecute OSAEC and CSAEM cases effectively.
