ATTY. KATHLEEN JOY "KATH" PICCIO-LABAY

Atty. Kath has been with IJM Philippines since 2013 and currently serves as the Head of Prosecution Development at the IJM Manila Office. Over the years, she has actively prosecuted OSEC cases and worked closely with public prosecutors, law enforcement agents, government social workers, and other non-governmental organization and shelter partners to secure justice for OSEC victim-survivors.

Atty. Kath is an advocate for women’s and children’s rights. She earned her law degree from the University of Santo Tomas, Faculty of Civil Law, and also obtained her bachelor’s degree in Journalism, graduating cum laude, from the same university.
