This course extensively discusses how to effectively prove OSEC in court through child-independent evidence.
It outlines the techniques and questions that can be employed when presenting evidence in OSEC cases.
It reviews selected investigative strategies and their utility and relevance in OSEC cases.
It also includes practical guidance on how to prepare a witness or a testimonial sponsor (e.g., online investigator, evidence custodian, investigator-on-the-case) vis-à-vis the Philippine justice system’s reliance on witness testimony.
Learners are equipped with good practices in presenting relevant evidence (digital evidence, documentary evidence, and object evidence) to prove OSEC and in parrying defense strategies and objections.

Pros. Lumapat-Lomanta is a Senior Assistant Provincial Prosecutor at the Cebu Provincial Prosecutor's Office, and a seasoned trainer of the DOJ-Office of Cybercrime and DOJ-IACAT Region XI - Anti-Trafficking Task Force. She has earned a distinction for having successfully secured a conviction in the FIRST documented Cyber Pornography case in Cebu. She is a Law Professor of Sto. Niño Mactan College, and an alumna for Cybercrime Policy Forum and Academic Criminal Justice at the International Law Enforcement Academy (Roswell, New Mexico). She obtained B.A. in Psychology (Magna cum laude) and Juris Doctor (cum laude) from Southwestern University-PHINMA, Cebu City.
