ATTY. PEACHES MARTINEZ-ARANAS

Atty. Peaches has more than 20 years experience in the private tax and corporate practice and has been involved in advisory, advocacy, and tax litigation. She founded ACCESS in 2017 with the vision to provide accessible alternatives to the traditional delivery of continuing education for lawyers, accountants, and other professionals.

She is currently Managing Partner of LMA Law. Her key areas of expertise include the design and implementation of corporate restructuring (corporate reorganizations, spin-offs, mergers, capital structuring, etc.); design and implementation of corporate tax planning (tax-free exchanges, mergers and acquisitions, share swap, etc.); representation before the revenue tax authorities (securing tax and tax treaty relief rulings, tax clearances and cancellation of tax assessments,and tax refunds); tax due diligence for mergers, acquisition, initial public offerings and compliance check; as well as tax litigation cases with the Court of Tax Appeals.

Previously, she was former Director for the Tax Division at SGV & Co. where she worked for almost a decade. Her previous experience includes her role as Senior Manager, Tax Division for KPMG Laya Mananghaya & Co. before joining Aranas Law Offices in 2015 to manage client services, administration, and finance.

Peaches received her Bachelor of Laws and Juris Doctor degree from Ateneo De Manila University.
